Shipping policy

1. Overview

This Shipping Policy explains how orders from Applied Police Resources are produced, shipped, and delivered. Because we sell both physical and digital products, different rules apply depending on what you order. Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

We currently ship physical products to United States addresses only. Digital products are available worldwide.

2. Digital products - no shipping

Digital products - the PDF edition of The Investigator's Field Reference and Field Reference Series poster files - are delivered electronically and require no shipping. After your payment is confirmed, a download link is sent to the email address used at checkout, typically within a few minutes. If a download link does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us; most delivery issues are resolved the same day.

3. Printed products - print on demand

Printed products, including the hardcover edition of The Investigator's Field Reference, are printed to order by our print-and-fulfillment partner rather than held in stock. Please allow a production time of approximately 2-5 business days before an order ships. You will receive tracking information by email when your order is dispatched.

4. Delivery times and carriers

Once printed, orders ship via standard carriers. Delivery estimates and available shipping methods are shown at checkout based on your address. Transit time is in addition to the production time in Section 3, and delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates - carrier delays, weather, and customs can affect timing.

5. Shipping charges

Shipping charges, if any, are calculated at checkout based on the items ordered and your delivery address, and are shown before you complete your purchase. Any duties, taxes, or customs fees for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping charges.

6. Shipping addresses

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. We are not able to reroute an order once it has entered production or shipped, and we are not responsible for orders delayed or returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment; additional shipping charges may apply.

7. Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period after the carrier's estimated delivery date, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and reship or refund as appropriate. If an item arrives damaged or defective, it is covered by our Refund Policy - keep the item and its packaging, take photographs, and contact us within 30 days of delivery.

8. International orders

Where international shipping is available, delivery times are longer and orders may be subject to customs inspection and to import duties or taxes imposed by the destination country. Those charges are set by your government, are outside our control, and are the responsibility of the recipient.
